Islam always advise ummah to give plenty of charities, especially during the month Ramadan. And that supposes to be the manner of all Muslims; generous. Allah and His messenger ordered, even gave example to the followers of Islam to be a generous and open-handed person.

On 5th June 2018, YMIH visited Pertubuhan Nor Aini, an old folks home at Kajang. This house locates around 40 all men old folks who are mostly haven’t been claim by their family from hospital. Living a life with the fact of ‘dumped’ by family, it’s a sad truth that human could’ve do that to their own blood who’ve raised them. No matter how bad the fathers treat them but we always heard the term “He is still your father”. Looking at their face caving for a children’s love is a truly heartbreaking.
On 6th June 2018, YMIH visited Pusat Jagaan Titian OKU Nur at Batu 16 Rawang, Selangor. This house is a shelter for 50 children – elderly and disabled people. Most of the elderly here are not claim by their heirs from the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital and Titian OKU Nur were forced to receive new patients. Most of the occupants here are disabled – mental, physical, educational, learning disabilities and elderly citizens.
On 7th June 2018, YMIH visited Pertubuhan Rahoma Darul Fakir at Kampung Datuk Keramat, Kuala Lumpur to contribute donation in conjunction with Ramadan and upcoming Syawal celebration. We able to walk around and consider the house, the children there are comfortable and living with adequate situation. Dato’ Faridah, the management of Pertubuhan Rahoma said that this upcoming Syawal all the children will be back to their family or relative’s house to celebrate.
On the same day YMIH visited Rumah perlindungan Nur Hati, where this house occupied by 60 children and most of them are babies and young kids. This house is a home for illegitimate baby and children, orphans and abandoned ones, single mothers and elderly women, OKU, problematic teenagers, and mualaf. We found this house is special as it is the home that protect the fate of the abandoned children and women.
Not to forget, YMIH managed to visit the management of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Malaysia at Surau Al-Barakah, Flat Taman Kosas, where they organised a program to help Asnaf poor and Orphans at Flat Taman Kosas. This program is targeted to poor family and children by providing their breaking fast/moreh food. It is a good initiative to help those in need during the month of Ramadan.
